Javi was a fantastic teacher about street art. I love that at the risk of some street artists/community members in Madrid against his sharing of public art with travelers he continues to share the art form because he is so passionate and wants to inform travelers of a different side of the Madrid art scene. If you’re looking for an experience that is different and engaging, then I’d HIGHLY recommend booking this experience! Javi, is an awesome guide who really has an in-depth knowledge about art, the streets, the community and the city. The tour goes through areas of the city where you do not cross paths with other tourists. This is a bonus as it means you’re not fighting with other groups to get pictures etc. You’re emerged into the local area and really feel like you are in the stomping grounds of the locals (because you are) as oppose to another tourist hot spot. Worth every cent! Thank you, Javi, for the awesome experience.
